Stevie Love

Stevie embodies a sense of calm and harmony which lives on through her work and work process. She uses acrylic paint to make paintings and paint objects, bringing out synergic expressions of the paint through allowing them to flow as they naturally do. Her work is mystical and serendipitous, having been well circulated in galleries and museums throughout California for the last 20 years. Having done her formal dissertation at Claremont Graduate University under a Merit scholarship, her experiences working as a fine artist now has her serving in the board of directors at the Lancaster Museum of Art and History. Stevie and her husband Bruce, one of the worlds leading Mayan anthropologists, reside in a home that they hand-built in to a serene high desert abode resembling Mayan architecture as an example of how salient her essence is in everything that she does.
